Dill Thousand Island
Dressing
1 cup Mayonnaise
3/4 cup Buttermilk
1/4 cup Catsup
2 rounded tsp CUCUMBER DILL
Dry Ssng
Mix and chill.

HOLIDAY TREAT (M-m-m!)
Cream 1 pint soft cream cheese
with 1 rnd tsp CUCUMBER DILL (Dry Ssng)
Spread on rye or pumpernickle bread.
Top with thin slice of cucumber (peeled).
Cut into individual bite-sized pieces.
Chill and serve.

Lemon Chicken
(Use this recipe for baking
fish. Delicious!)
Skin and de-fat
chicken pieces. Squeeze juice of fresh lemon over chicken.
Sprinkle with either Summer Garden or Gourmet Garlic Dry
Mix, plus a little paprika for color. Bake at least 1 hour
at 350o, first half hour uncovered.

Style
Smooth 1 cup
Mayonnaise (regular or "lite") with 1 rounded
tsp Summer Garden or Gourmet Garlic Dry Mix
Add 1 cup Buttermilk.
(For a thicker dressing, use less than a cup of buttermilk.)
Chill to allow for flavor
release.
Serve on: salads, baked potatoes,
green vegetables (cooked or raw), chicken or fish, French
Fries, Jo-Jo's, or use to season potato or pasta salad.

Gourmet
Garlic Bread
To 1 cube softened
margarine, add 1 tsp Gourmet Garlic Dry Mix.
Spread on French bread. Warm
or toast in oven.
Variation: Top with Parmesan
Cheese or shredded cheddar cheese.

Cheese
Ball
(Yield: 3 balls)
2 8-oz pkg cream
cheese
1 8.5-oz can drained crushed
pineapple
2 cups chopped walnuts
2 TB onions, finely chopped
(optional)
1 tsp Gourmet Garlic Dry Mix
Soften cream cheese, stir
until smooth.
Add drained pineapple.
Stir in 1/2 the nuts, all
of the onion, and the Gourmet Garlic Dry Mix.
Divide into 3 sections, mold
each into ball.
Roll & coat each ball
in remaining walnuts.
Wrap in plastic wrap and chill
until firm.

Italian Salad Dressing
Mix 1/2 cup oil
(canola or olive oil)
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/8 tsp Dijon Mustard (optional)
1/2 tsp Summer Garden or Gourmet
Garlic Dry Mix

Creamy Italian
Pour the Italian
Salad Dressing into a bottle. Shake well. Chill.
(The mustard helps homogenize the oil and vinegar. The more
mustard, the creamier the Italian dressing becomes.)

Marinade

3/4 cup oil,
2 TB cider vinegar, 2 tsp ground ginger, 2 TB chopped onion,
1/4 cup each soy sauce and honey, 3/4 tsp Gourmet Garlic
or Summer Garden Dry Mix.

Saute
Saute mushrooms in butter
seasoned with Gourmet Garlic Dry Mix. When done, pour over
hot pasta!

Mix 1 rounded
tsp either Summer Garden or Gourmet Garlic Dry Mix with
1 pint sour cream (or IMO). Chill.

1/2 tsp dried dillweed (or
1 tsp fresh)

1 pint Yogurt,
plain or non-fat
1 rounded tsp Summer Garden
or Gourmet Garlic Dry Mix
Thin with 2/3 cup skimmed
or 2% milk

Another Lo-Cal Dressing
1 cup 'lite'
mayonnaise
1/2 cup dry milk (powdered
milk)
1 rounded tsp Summer Garden
or Gourmet Garlic Dry Mix
Add water until desired thickness

Seasoning
Use Summer Garden or Gourmet
Garlic Dry Mix as the primary seasoning in soups, stews,
hamburgers, meat loaves, on roasts, etc. It is even good
sprinkled on popcorn.

French!
(Bright & Tangy)
2 TBS sugar
4 TBS catsup
6 TBS vinegar
8 TBS oil
1 TBS water
1/2 TBS Gourmet Garlic Dry
Mix
Mix all ingredients
together.
Pour into small bottle &
shake well.
Store in refrigerator.
Serve over leafy green salads.

Creamy Seafood Dip
(Yields 3 cups)
Blend 1 8-oz
pkg cream cheese, 1 cup sour cream and 1 tsp Summer Garden
of Gourmet Garlic Dry Mix, dash of cayenne, 1/3 cup mayonnaise,
2 TB dillweed. Mix well. Fold in 1 7-oz can crab or shrimp
seafood.
